Sexy underwear: Better on of off?
Sexy gals in underwear...pretty good right guys? But here's the thing, is it better for the underwear to be on or off? I'd say it depends on the situation, but I suppose it depends on the person also.
Anyway, a while back, I decided to take some photos of underwear, not sexy ladies in underwear, although maybe I did that too (not really)...and this post results from that photoshoot.
I used my Olympus OM-D E-M10 Mark III for the shots, fitted with my Olympus 60mm M.Zuiko macro lens, and despite there being a few duds, managed to get a handful of shots I felt happy sharing.
It took a long while to get these photos together though, not that I'm complaining. You see, every time I went to get the underwear out to photograph it...someone was wearing it! I found a happy solution though: Peel it off.
Each time I began the process though...well...I kind of got distracted and that's where things got hard.
Literally.
I worked around the problem though, flipped it over, approached it from different angles and perspectives, and finally came to a conclusion.
The two shots above are of a set that doesn't really make a lot of sense.
Ok, it actually makes loads of sense as it doesn't leave anything to the imagination at all which is a good thing right?
There's some rather small blue sections of fabric held together by a few pink stitches and it's all held onto the body, delectably loosely, by thin pink ribbons. There's not much of it, so I wonder why it was so expensive to buy!
Above and below are three shots of a pair of panties that...well...they don't leave much to the imagination either, thankfully.
The front part forms the shape of a butterfly, a see-through one, and there's little pearls sewn onto them and...ah fuck it, who really cares...they look good on and equally good flung across the room and crumpled on the floor. If I recall correctly it took a long time to get these off...or...maybe it took me a long time to get off...I can't fucken remember.
Here we go, a sensible set at last.
This is a top and shorts and...if you think they're actually sensible you're fucken bonkers! The shorts are short. I mean, short. The top is one of those crop top things, you know, cuts off short instead of going all the way down to the waist. The top has a couple of buttons so it opens up nicely and because of the length it covers, not much at all. The whole set is so completely impractical, but that's the whole point of it right?
Sometimes things come pretty quickly, and these came off fast too.
These last two are fairly utilitarian items, just bras in fact.
These things do an amazing job at lifting, separating and containing boobs and boobs are really great things right, they deserve the support. Even the word boobs is fun to say...Boooooobs. Ya know?
Boobs, boobs, boobs... So enjoyable.
Boobs.
That's about it for today although there's the question I posed in the title I guess...I want your answers...if you're willing.
People spend a lot of money on underwear; some is basic and utilitarian and some is designed to send a message, and oh what a lovely message it sends!

You see, the first part is having them on, to create the allure.
And this happens when there is distance between the two, so that you can take it in with your eyes.
The allure creates the excitment
and that draws you close, where clothing just usually gets in the way.

Its really depends. When I sleep and the weather is too hot I can sleep completely naked. But not wearing it for everyday use is kind of uncomfortable especially if your pants or short has a zipper, lol.

I can't sleep in anything to be honest; I find I get tangled up. I don't know how people sleep in pyjamas. I have them of course, but they come off when I get into bed. I'd wake up strangled to death.

Pyjama is no, no for me too, but lots of people used that like it is the most comfortable clothes to wear at night. I will still to with my old shirt and short, its super comfortable.

I love the pictures. Well, I am a lady and I prefer my underwear on. I will not feel comfortable when it is off. I have never slept naked

Yeah, I know many like that who have to have something on when they sleep. I sleep naked, it's always been this way from when I was thrown out of home at seventeen and a half. As I said in another comment, I get tangled up if I wear anything to bed.
I've always fancied the Carnivale approach. Very little covering the middle, but a lot going on elsewhere.

I recall back a few years when I was in Singapore for the F1 GP (used to go every year until 2020.) There was one of the entertainment acts staying at my hotel, they were carnivale dancers who would wander about at the GP dancing and looking sensational. They'd come down to the pool area every day around 10am (Singapore F1 is a night race so no one gets to the truck until 4pm) and with their teeny tiny thong bathers and no tops, would frolic about. I always got to the pool area at 09:55...Lol.
Meanwhile I tell you that your shots are fantastic as always, those undergarments look like works of art, you should be a photographer and an advertiser you would make millions eh eh!
As far as the question is concerned, I think it always depends on the situation, there are those in which a nice undergarment must definitely be turned on eh eh!

On or off, the end result is usually the same. I mean, let's be honest and say three tiny triangles of fabric and a few strings of ribbon aren't much of an impediment to a person with a strong focus and a result-oriented ethos.
These are great pictures. Underwear is only for a moment but when you wear nice and comfortable underwear it gives you an insurmountable security.
I'm told that wearing sexy/quality underwear can feel empowering and nice for a woman, Victoria's Secret stuff and others I mean. I guess it's no different for a man which is why premium brands like Calvin Klein sell so well.

On...or off...I'm rarely fussy, just appreciative.
Underwear on makes the imagination fly even if it's your partner and you know quite well what to expect underneath.
Besides, some forms of underwear (not necessarily the heavy naughty ones) are like art and on the body especially of women make it a complete artistic tridimensional portrait.
So there are moments that are perfect with underwear on, and other, well, underwear off is a simple consequence.

Thanks mate, I try to get good shots but don't really know how to use any of the settings or how to use the light properly so I just tend to be content with whatever happens. Sometimes they turn out ok.

This post is very funny and sensual Galen all my underwear is cotton because this weather is too harsh for other material. So when I get really hot I usually take it off and I never sleep in underwear it makes me uncomfortable, at times of the female cycle there is no other to wear, it's a matter of perspective and action lol.

The ones with the pearles aren't designed for actual use I guess, there's not much of them and I think the use of pearls as adornment wouldn't be nice for a person to wear for very long. They work well though, for the minutes they stay on. 😁

I've never come to wrap my head around underwear,knowing fully well that ladies version are as good as naked. So, why wearing.
Night wears are more appropriate.
Men do wear boxers or shorts.
I think with the women's stuff it's designed to accentuate their curves and attributes as well as helping make them feel special, sexy it sensual...if that's how they feel then the process of intimacy is going to go a lot more nicely for them, and whomever they are with. It's as much a state if mind as a physical statement.
I'm kind of indifferent to underwear, to be honest. When we were married I told my wife not to bother wasting money on expensive lingerie, just buy whatever works for under clothes where out and about, and then when we have adult fun time, just peel it off as quickly as possible. I don't know—sexy undies just don't do anything for me.
Anyway, another good photo practice here. Macro shots can be tough to get, but you did a good job with this crop.
It's interesting to think about what's been thought of as sexy over the last couple hundred years and how things have changed. I don't just mean with lingerie but in general. Fads and fashions come and go, and come back and go and come back again...is anything really all that new?
What's the phrase... nothing new under the sun. Some of the things that have been thought of as sexy in the past seem pretty strange to me. But I have no doubt they will come around again before long.

Yeah, I read the Wheel of Time series until book seven or eight and saw no end in sight so decided to stop before it got to book sixty nine thousand seven hundred and ninety three.
haha yep. I made it till book 8 myself. Decided I would reread them all as I waited for book 9, but the reread made me abandon it. That series is an excellent example of why an editor should be a requirement.
Still—those first 2-3 books had some great ideas and writing. Shame it didn't carry through to the rest of the series.
It's really sad I think, it was such an awesome story and could have been wrapped up in the usual trilogy, or even two trilogy...A sixilogy? It's a shame it drew out into what seemed like a money-grab by the author.

Either a money-grab or a author who just didn't know how to close a story, which seems to be a trap George R.R. Martin has fallen into with the Game of Throne books. I saw that one coming and so never got into them. Stephen King almost fell into that trap with his Dark Tower books. It took that car accident to make him want to actually finish them. Even then, it took... 9 books I think? Way too long.
Always disappointing when a series goes on too long.
Oh yeah, Game of Thrones will never get finished by the author I think. Sad really. One got that impression as the books unfolded and now he probably feels the story is over as the TV series ended it. I wonder if he feels he couldn't live up to the story they weaved? Either way it annoys me the books won't be completed and I think, as an author, it would annoy him too.
