Pizza Day 2025 en Lima
Como ya es costumbre el pasado 22 de mayo se celebró el pizza day en Lima: en mi caso el tercero en el que participo. Esta vez no sólo fui asistente sino también parte de la organización de esta fiesta, la cual ya es una tradición en el ecosistema web3 juntarnos en diversas ciudades alrededor del mundo a recordar la compra que se hizo en el 2010 de dos pizzas familiares con Bitcoin. Han pasado 15 años desde ese día y muchas cosas han cambiando, la adopción ha crecido pero aún falta mucho para que Web3 sea parte del día a día de las personas en el mundo.
Este año la comunidad de @mkt.community de la que formo parte junto a comunidades aliadas organizó la fiesta de pizzas en Lima. Fue una noche llena de activades divertidas: charlas, paneles, concursos. Muchas personas entre conocidos y nuevos interesados en conocer diversos proyectos y oportunidades en el ecosistema, además de la infaltable pizza parte esencial del evento.

As usual, May 22 was celebrated as Pizza Day in Lima. For me, it was the third year in a row that I participated. This time, I was part of the organization of the event, which has become a tradition in the Web3 ecosystem. People gather in different cities around the world to commemorate the purchase of two family pizzas with Bitcoin in 2010. Fifteen years have passed since that day, and much has changed. Adoption has grown, but Web3 still has a long way to go to become part of people's everyday lives around the world.
This year, the MKT Community, of which I am a member, along with other communities, organized the pizza party in Lima. It was a fun-filled night with activities like talks, panels, and contests. Many people, both familiar faces and newcomers interested in learning about various projects and opportunities in the ecosystem, attended. The event, of course, included pizza, an essential part of the celebration.
