Acabo de llegar a casa y vengo con toda la emoción a mostrarte parte del recorrido de hoy.

Acordé en recorrer Las Meninas con @ch1nux y comenzamos a caminar desde Chacaito porque en La Plaza Brión está la que da inicio a la ruta.

Alcanzamos a conocer 14 de las 19 Meninas y planeamos volver el próximo fin de semana. Amé ver a las personas emocionadas buscando la siguiente, compartiendo varios integrantes de una familia o personas solas que nos llegaron a pedir ayuda para tomarse una foto.

I just got home and I come with all the excitement to show you part of today's tour.

I agreed to walk through Las Meninas with @ch1nux and we started walking from Chacaito because in La Plaza Brión is the one that starts the route.

We got to see 14 of the 19 Meninas and plan to return next weekend. I loved seeing the excited people looking for the next one, sharing several members of a family or single people who came to ask for help to take a picture.

El día estaba soleado, la brisa jugaba con nuestro cabello y cada una de las esculturas estaba ubicada en un lugar estratégico del municipio.

Si me preguntas cuál fue mi favorita, me quedaría considerándolo un rato, pero elegiría entre las primeras porque me emocionó la novedad.

Luego de tomarnos la foto en la del BNC, buscamos referencias de Las Meninas en Google. @Ch1nux me habló de cuando le enseñaron ese cuadro en clases y le hablaron de que "El arte no se ve, se siente" además de que le insistieron en la convicción de que "Hay que sacar el arte del cuadro y de los museos para sentirlo".

The day was sunny, the breeze played with our hair and each of the sculptures was located in a strategic place in the municipality.

If you ask me which one was my favorite, I would keep considering it for a while, but I would choose among the first ones because I was excited by the novelty.

After having our picture taken at the BNC one, we looked up references of Las Meninas on Google. @Ch1nux told me about when he was taught that painting in class and they told him that "Art is not seen, it is felt" and they insisted on the conviction that "You have to take art out of the painting and out of the museums to feel it".

Admirar el artes en las calles y sentir la energía de quienes persistimos en hacer el recorrido, me otorgó una de las salidas más sencillas, pero también más gratificantes por mi ciudad.

Admiring the art in the streets and feeling the energy of those who persist in making the journey, gave me one of the simplest, but also the most rewarding outings in my city.
