Transformers In Real Life

A couple of months ago, when there was still sun outside rather than the grumpy cold weather we all can't wait to get rid of, I had a unique experience in a pretty basic day.

I was literally on a walk to the shopping center near my home to get some snacks for the evening where I was planning to get cozy at home whether to read for a couple of hours, play video games, watch a movie, or even a bit of everything, when my attention was quckly captured by some tall and imposing pieces of art that could be seen from the distance.

This was not one of the most common views one can have because when you look towards the parking lot, you don't really expect to see anything other than just cars, obviously, but somehow things were different back then.

As a kid who grew up with these movies and always dreamed of owning a Bumblebee in miniature, there is no need to say that I was gone in a blink of an eye from my boyfriend's side, who was still trying to figure out why I got so excited, lol.

The open air exhibition was called Transform Robots and it took place between 7th November and 5th December in 2025, and it was supposed to be open daily between 10 AM and 8 PM.

Sadly, that proved to be a bit wrong because during the time when this exhibition took place, I had more walks towards that direction and I never found it open, which seemed at least weird.

But as a person who couldn't miss the chance to see the robots even from a distance, I managed to take a couple of shots over the fence that was supposed to block visitors from seeing these unless they paid for a ticket.

By the way, the price of a ticket was around 4 EUR for a kid and 5 EUR for an adult, which still seems a bit too expensive, but there are always parents who would pay a little fortune for a ticket just for the happiness of their kids. The problem was, that, as I said, in none of the days I tried to visit this, there was never anyone on the ticket office.

Some of the robots they mentioned on the informative panel as being part of the exhibition were Bronkerson R-264, Waxanarus R-238, Pexiwald R-294, Brewster R-217 and Drambot R-534, that I am sure some of you might remember about, but sadly I couldn't take a picture of all of them because of not having them placed near the fence as these I already took a picture of.

Anyway, even with an experience half enjoyed at the end of the day, I was still happy to change my routine even for just a couple of minutes, and even today, when I relived everything by writing this article, I still find it a unique experience.

Wait, so the robots were there, but the humans weren't? Maybe they really were sentient and decided they didn't need a ticket office! 🤖 Seriously though, those are some amazing photos for being taken over a fence.

If only I was a bit taller and had a proper photo camera, not my 7 years old phone! Lol. 😁
