First batch of cars from Sibiu Classic Rally 2022
Last year, between 30th September and 1st October, Sibiu Classic Rally took place which is a famous event in town since it brings in a single place tens of classic cars that race for two days on some of the most scenic roads of Transylvania, but also take part in an open-air exhibition where anyone is welcome to come and see some rare vehicles that resisted with the passage of time.
Personally, I only heard about Transylvania Classic Rallye until then, which I haven't missed any edition of since I moved to Sibiu, but somehow there is another similar rally which, most likely, was only brought back last year after a break since the pandemic started. Obviously, the vehicles from Transylvania Classic Rallye are a lot more, there actually being another category along with the classics, which is dedicated to hybrid/electric cars, and the total number of contestants usually exceeds 100 vehicles presented.
Like any rally or exhibition that involves cars, there are always a couple of vehicles that easily become the stars of that edition, and the Corvette from above was one of them.
Either way, being passionate about vehicles since I was a kid, I couldn't miss the opportunity to have my first experience with Sibiu Classic Rally which was at its 11th edition in 2022, in 2023 being away from town when it took place. However, I was freshly returning from a trip when I heard of this event held in town and it was on its last day, so I didn't manage to catch up with all the vehicles that were part of the rally but I still took a picture with those that were still part of the exhibition.
As mentioned in the title of the post, this is the first batch of cars attending Sibiu Classic Rally in 2022, and there is going to be one more post from this edition which will also come with al least one more star in terms of vehicles.

Really great classic rally of cars. But I have seen these cars second time in my life. Firstly I have seen these type of cars in a video game called GTA secondly through your post. You are lucky that you see these moments in reality instead of photos.
It's obvious most of us have seen them in video games, as it's impossible not to. But it's a completely different feeling to see them in real life, which was the actual question.
But I doubt you you've seen them in GTA as they don't work with real brands of cars.
Because these are not in my countryside...
