walking through Fine Arts / Caminando por Bellas Artes

It is difficult to explain but there are certain places to which we have affection, perhaps we think it is strange to feel affection for a place but it is more common than we think, that affection is almost always related to the experiences lived there, the memories that we treasure and that we relive when traveling or visiting somewhere.

Es difícil de explicar pero hay ciertos lugares a los que les guardamos afecto, tal vez creamos algo raro el hecho de sentir cariño por un lugar pero es más común de lo que pensamos, ese afecto casi siempre está relacionado con las experiencias vividas allí, los recuerdos que atesoramos y que revivimos al transitar o visitar algún sitio.

I have a special affection for Fine Arts, it is a part of Caracas where I have experienced incredible things and met great friends. The university where I study is located in this place, it is the National Experimental University of the Arts, this study house is my second home. At the beginning of the race I spent a lot of time in its facilities and every day I passed by this street at the same time (golden hour).

Yo le tengo un especial afecto a Bellas Artes, es una parte de Caracas donde he vivido cosas increíbles y conocido a grandes amigos. En este lugar está ubicada la universidad donde estudio, es la Universidad Nacional Experimental de las Artes, ésta casa de estudio es mi segundo hogar. Al principio de la carrera pase mucho tiempo en sus instalaciones y todos los días pasaba a la misma hora ( la hora dorada) por esta calle.

Today, in the final stretch of my university career, I pass by here and apart from feeling at home, I feel nostalgia and a deep affection for the place that has witnessed my transformation as a person and artist.

Hoy, en la recta final de mi carrera universitaria, paso por acá y aparte de sentirme en casa, siento nostalgia y un profundo afecto por el lugar que ha sido testigo de mi transformación como persona y artista.

I think that if places could talk, the stories of countless people would at least give ideas to write a million good scripts...

Pienso que si los lugares pudiesen hablar, las historias de infinidad de personas darían por lo menos ideas para escribir un millón de buenos guiones...
