A paradoxical city, Caracas / Una ciudad paradojica, Caracas [ENG/ESP]

Hello Hive friends! I want to share some photos I took of my City. Every place where human beings reside has a particular beauty, human activity always brings wonders and destruction, something paradoxical perhaps. Caracas is no exception, here everything moves very fast and daily life has an unstable rhythm, we are always subject to sudden changes and destined to adapt, I think that is good, as a society we have gone through moments of great complications, we are the product of a cultural mix wonderful that allows us to expand our vision of the world, that versatility and power of adaptation that characterizes us at the same time keeps us afloat and in constant transformation.

Hola amigos de Hive! Les quiero compartir algunas fotos que hice de mi Ciudad. Todo lugar donde reside el ser humano tiene una particular belleza, la actividad humana siempre trae maravillas y destrucción, algo paradójico tal vez. Caracas no es la excepción, aquí todo va muy rápido y la cotidianidad posee un ritmo inestable, siempre estamos sujetos a cambios bruscos y destinados a adaptarnos, creo que eso es bueno, como sociedad hemos atravesado momentos de grandes complicaciones, somos producto de una mezcla cultural maravillosa que nos permite ampliar nuestra visión del mundo, esa versatilidad y poder de adaptación que nos caracteriza al mismo tiempo nos mantiene a flote y en constante transformación.

I took these photographs in 2019, they are the Twin Towers of Parque Central, a real marvel of architecture. I remember that I was just starting to study Cinematography and I took a lot of photos with the first phone I bought, most of the time I had no idea what I was doing, but I liked it, I was just beginning to relate to basic concepts of photography, I didn't even know of correct exposure, nor composition and not even thinking about a camera or professional equipment, I just wanted it to look "pretty", which today I understand as a desire to extend a little the beauty of the moment that I contemplated with admiration.

Estás fotografías la hice en el año 2019, son las Torres Gemelas de Parque Central, una real maravilla de la arquitectura. Recuerdo que apenas comenzaba a estudiar Cinematografía y hacía muchas fotos con el primer teléfono que me compré, la mayor parte del tiempo no tenía idea de lo que hacía, pero me gustaba, apenas comenzaba a relacionarme con conceptos básicos de fotografía, yo ni siquiera sabía de correcta exposición, ni composición y ni pensar en una cámara o equipos profesionales, yo solo quería que se viera "bonito", lo que hoy entiendo como un deseo alargar un poco la belleza del momento que contemplaba con admiración.

I took the photos with a Redmi note 8 phone, I edited them in a program that I don't remember the name of, it was very basic to use, so much so that, with the little I knew, I was able to understand it without complications. Experimenting with saturation without trying to achieve anything specific, I liked the results. For me it was spectacular because before that I had not taken photos, beyond the sunsets that I captured from my house with a borrowed phone, being able to go out into the world and Recording it seemed fascinating to me. Later I began to see more and more extraordinary things in the diary and try to capture that in one way or another, a vision that developed and was perhaps the product of some books I read during my first semester at the university, perhaps the beginning of a criterion that was beginning to lay the foundations. But this is another part of the story that little by little you will see.

Realicé la fotos con un teléfono Redmi note 8, las edité en un programa del cual no recuerdo el nombre, era de uso muy básico, tanto que, con lo poco que sabía lograba entender sin complicaciones. Experimentando con la saturación sin pretender llegar a nada en especifico, me gustaron los resultados.Para mí era espectacular porque antes de eso no había hecho fotos, más allá de los atardeceres que capturaba desde mi casa con un teléfono prestado, poder salir al mundo y registrarlo me parecía fascinante. Más tarde empecé a ver más y más cosas extraordinarias en el diario e intentar plasmar eso de una u otra forma, visión que se desarrollaba y era producto tal vez de algunos libros leídos durante mi primer semestre en la universidad, quizás el comienzo de un criterio que empezaba a sentar bases. Pero esta es otra parte de la historia que poco a poco irán viendo.

Caracas is a city full of beauty and chaos, full of love and hate, kindness and lack, gratitude and disagreement, good and not so good people, there are infinite ways to see it and approach it, that is what I like the most, a Look at her will never be the same twice.

Caracas es una ciudad llena de belleza y caos, llena de amor y odio, bondad y carencias, agradecimiento e inconformidad, gente buena y no tan buena, hay infinitas formas de verla y aproximarse a ella, eso es lo que mas me gusta, una mirada sobre ella jamás sera la misma dos veces.
