Caracas, a city full of buildings and a people that you don't normally see in other cities. Some time ago I came to see publications here in Hive of urban photography, something that catches my attention and I like.

While I was in Caracas, I was taking pictures everywhere I went, being especially striking the streets I walked and the buildings that were there.

This small group of urban photographs does not seek to be professional or anything like that, because I am an amateur in this of photography, but my intention was to immortalize in these photos part of my visit in Caracas, providing a perspective of the streets I walked, the people I saw and the places I was.

I certainly did not visit many things, but what I did see I found interesting. And notice that you don't need to be in very impressive places to take good pictures, take for example the picture at the top of this group, a traffic light. It may be an everyday object, but even the simplest things can make good photos, in which you can observe the environment and the characteristics of the place where you are.

Besides objects, I focused more on people. All walking in this sea of people walking in the wide streets of the city, without paying too much attention to those around them or to the many people taking pictures, because no, I was not the only one taking pictures.

I managed to capture photos of different moments and the daily activity of the people, something great because these photos come out natural, spontaneous because people are still doing their own thing, capturing the daily life and urban landscapes of a city as interesting as the capital of my country...

Caracas, una ciudad repleta de edificios y un gentilicio como el que normalmente no se ve en otras ciudades. Hace un tiempo llegue a ver publicaciones aquí en Hive de fotografía urbana, algo que me llama mucho la atención y me gusta.

Mientras estuve en Caracas, estuve tomando fotografías en todos los lugares en los que estuve, siendo especialmente llamativo las calles que transité y los edificios que había.

Este pequeño grupo de fotografías urbanas no busca ser profesional ni nada por el estilo, porque soy un aficionado en esto de la fotografía, pero mi intención sí era la de inmortalizar en estas fotos parte de mi visita en Caracas, brindando una perspectiva del las calles que camine, las personas que vi y los lugares en los que estuve.

Ciertamente no visité muchas cosas, pero lo que llegué a ver me pareció interesante. Y fíjense que no se necesita estar en lugares demasiado impresionantes para tomar buenas fotografías, fíjense por ejemplo la foto que encabeza a este grupo, un semáforo. Puede ser un objeto muy cotidiano pero hasta de las cosas más sencillas se pueden obtener buenas fotos, en las que se observe el entorno y las características del lugar en el que se está.

Además de objetos, me enfoqué más en la gente. Todos caminando en este mar de personas que andan en las anchas calles de la ciudad, sin prestar demasiada atención a los que hay a su alrededor ni a los tantos que toman fotografías, porque no, no era el único tomando fotos.

Logré capturar fotos de diversos momentos y de la actividad cotidiana de las personas, algo genial porque salen naturales estas fotos, espontáneas porque las personas siguen haciendo lo suyo, capturando así la cotidianidad y los paisajes urbanos de una ciudad tan interesante como lo es la Capital de mi país...
