Caracas Buildings [ENG/SPA]

Edificios de Caracas.jpg

One of the things that impressed me the most during my last visit to Caracas were its buildings. As I have said in other publications about the architecture of this city, in my town I am not used to see buildings like this, so it is certainly impressive to see this kind of buildings live and so close.

My experience in the streets of caracas can be summarized as follows: building I saw, building I photographed. So I took a lot of pictures. This is my first community post of the year and the second on my blog so far in January, so I sincerely hope you like it.

I am sure that you, dear reader, have seen many buildings in your life, but I haven't, that's why I wanted to share my experience with you through these pictures. Believe me I had pictures of many buildings, but I had to select the best and the ones that in my opinion were the most beautiful.

Look at this picture, it serves to give us a contrast of the green of the city and the imposing building in the background, which in itself has a very interesting design. It would have been great to take a closer look, to capture some pictures and capture the symmetry of its forms, but I could not get very close.

Along the way I also found buildings under construction. One could overlook these things but it is interesting to see how these things are being built.

I remember on TV watching the timelapse of the construction of buildings, but it is interesting to see the cranes, the scaffolding and the unfinished parts of these buildings, to see the pillars and the interior areas, even from a distance, because it allows us to see a before and after of these architectural works.

On the other hand, I noticed that there were many buildings with mirror-like designs on the windows. Seen from the outside these buildings look beautiful, because they reflect the light and the sky, allowing a beautiful view of these towers. One may wonder how they managed to get those mirrors to such a high area.

But seeing and considering the huge cranes I saw on the buildings I showed above, I have an idea of how they could have done it.

There were a few towers that I did get to see up close and when I looked up at the sky with these buildings, I was in awe, as I was on the first floor and looking up gives a simply breathtaking view, at least for me.

Those who live in Caracas and see these buildings on a daily basis may not find it as interesting as I do, but at least the photos give a sense of grandeur when you see each of these imposing buildings.

Late in the afternoon, as the sky was darkening, I came across buildings with quite interesting designs in the front, even with more half-built buildings. I was far away, but look at the following picture where these buildings are.

10.jpg

In the photo below you can see three of them. The one in the foreground looks to me to be more than 15 stories tall, and has some rather odd windows, as if it were a sort of curtain covering the front of the building. The middle one is a bit more normal, with many mirrors in front.

The one in the back, as I said, is a construction, it is not finished, but you can also see the cranes that are there and something that caught my attention is that the cranes are there, in the middle of the city, with a lot of people around.

It causes a bit of fear for possible accidents that may occur, but I imagine that the city can not stop for the construction of a building, so I hope that these people are careful so that nothing happens. In the middle of the city with such big machinery it certainly is scary.

I remember the next day I came across buildings just as huge as this one. On streets that were curiously narrow and difficult to navigate, so I had to make a huge effort to take these photos of such large towers on such narrow streets.

This one below is a pretty clear building, notice that I managed to take pictures close enough to capture the pattern and symmetry in its shapes, lines and squares is what makes up the building, something that is repeated throughout its design.

I certainly enjoyed taking the pictures of these buildings. I didn't care if they were apartment buildings, office buildings or whatever. It could be a residential complex or part of a shopping mall, I just wanted to take souvenirs of the works of this huge city, which I don't visit every day but it is certainly interesting when I manage to go...

I loved the way you approached and described the publication, the admiration with which you express yourself. It is true that those of us who live in the city already take it as part of everyday life, however in my case sometimes I also take a minute to visualize when they are different and impressive like that. Thank you for giving us your beautiful experience 💙

You always share murals of your city so it is evident that you stop to look at the beautiful things there.

I think I will do the same when I visit Caracas, I must bring an extra memory hahaha. Beautiful photos and beautiful buildings. In Merida, we have buildings with few floors, although they are taking more risks. The Previsora building is my favorite of this series.

They are all beautiful buildings, but as someone else told me in the comments, in the city they go very well with the green areas!

The beautiful Caracas and its buildings! When I was a child I was very impressed by these buildings because I had never seen them so high and with such designs.

I like that you managed to capture that contrast and you got good shots, besides that one moves to that great city that one misses so much.

Hehehehe is that for a child it must be impressive, imagine that one being an adult is still impressed, what will be left for a child.

But thank you very much for stopping by my post to leave such a nice comment.

The buildings of the capital city are impressive, the BNC tower has a beautiful design, I love its cylindrical shape and tinted glass; the cityscape offers a great variety of architectural designs.

Greetings!

That specific one has its charm, one of my favorites of all the ones I took, not my favorite, but one of the ones I liked the most. They are impressive buildings!

Cheers!
