Trichome Explosion - Cannabis Update
Hello Everyone,
I'm feeling super motivated today about the cannabis plants.
This is definitely turning out to be my best grow ever.
Let's get right into the photographs.

As I type this post, we're heading into day 35 of flowering.
The projection is somewhere between the 17th of October to the 24th for harvest.
I think it would be cool if I can push them until the 28th of October because that day is a full moon and I feel like it would put some magic into this fire crop.
This would definitely be pushing it though, and maybe the Miracle Mack's could benefit from a little longer flowering time than the Big Mack Superstars.
We shall see. I won't push them further than what is beneficial for an even coverage of milkly/amber trichome coloration, which should be about 50% of each at time of harvest for optimal psychoactive effects.
I strive to produce extremely strong psychoactive effects, so the trichomes dictate everything in this regard.

Despite my excitement levels being very high, there are some concerns...
The humidity levels have been higher than I would like to see with all of this dankness. 60-75% humidity has been the norm for the past few days and this could cause mold problems.
I turn on the AC at times to combat the high humidity.
There's been some reports of mold happening in this region lately so I really must keep a heavy eye on it.
Even if I have to push them a little colder, that's a small price to pay for a large loss of quality cannabis.

Even the bud production under the netting is explosive in a surprising way. I've decided I'm not going to do any defoliation to the end plants because they are growing in a shocking way with very green foliage from top to bottom.
I still do not expect the buds to be as massive as the center Big Mack Superstar plants, because they are much larger right now, and has been the case consistently through this clone line.
But that does not mean the Miracle Mack's on the end might not rival the production due to a large undergrowth of bud.
This is going to be really awesome to watch over the next few weeks.

I find this blood red coloration in the foliage veins to be super cool.
According to my research, this type of coloration in the stems and veins can be signs of issues with the plants, but is normal during flowering with certain genetic lines. The key aspects to look at are stress on the foliage in forms of curling or extreme discoloration, and if everything else seems to be looking great with red coloration in these areas, then everything is likely good to go.
In this case my diagnosis is that everything is just fine with these plants, but I will further monitor this just to be on the safe side.

Aside from some staggeringly breathtaking trichome coverage at day 35, the aroma is extreme.
While typing this I realized I left the tent fan off due to the pungent smell that started filling the house. Without the air flowing in the tent, it seems to build up and seep out in a very strong way, so I have to maintain good airflow. This also helps combat against the stagnant conditions that give way to mold as well.

I was really feeling it today during the photoshoot.
I had some heavy metal blasting while taking the photos and was really enjoying myself.
Did you all know that cannabis plants enjoy heavy metal too?
Tell me what you think in the comments please :)
Thank you for stopping by!
Have a great day! -@futuremind
I had no idea that cannabis likes metal, it was something new for me ha ha after 45 years as a smoker! Very musty buds!!
Hahaha I think it's a symbiotic energetic flow exchange in multi dimensional fashion.
If there is good vibrational resonance of low frequency vibrations emanating through the floor, the plants enjoy it.
Melodic music with deep lows seem like a good choice.
On the higher vibrations there is good effects too I think, but bass has to be hitting.
Stuff with lots of heavy thudding like hip hop seems to give them anxiety sometimes.
Maybe I just have an active imagination about this :D
Thank you for the compliment my friend :)

I'm excited about this batch too!
The magic is already there my friend. Already there.
That's so sweet of you to say my friend, thank you <3
An ounce of this stuff has your name on it, should be able to make it happen before Thanksgiving :)
I showed the cannabis picture to my friend
He was amazed
He love cannabis a lot...lol
You make me feel like a popular weed grower, thank you my friend <3
I love that your plants enjoy heavy metal! Thanks for sharing all your experience, I'm glad to know the approximate date of your harvest, although I have some small ones flowering, they will probably come in around the end of October harvest time.
Also, I did some research on the reddish stems and you're absolutely right, it's not a concern if the leaves don't show difficulties, the stems will correct themselves as the genetics require. Sending you a big hello. As always, I enjoyed your pictures very much.
Thank you @littlesorceress!
My plants certainly enjoy the praise of beautiful talented little sorceresses ;)
The plants love a plethora of different styles of music. Towards the end of their cycle they really love violin and cello :)
I think in the case of these red veins, it's a sign of well stored nutrients, which should be used up in the next couple of weeks with massive plumping.
Have a great day and thank you for stopping by!
I get the feeling these flowers would take me to another plane of existence 😄
They might 😂
I grew something about a year ago, unknown genetic origins. It legit sent me tripping.
If you're interested in getting some of this, we might be able to make it happen :)
lol! I did something like that with the pail full of water and coke bottle trick. To be fair, that was probably the rush of oxygen that sent me spinning. heh
Thanks for the offer! If the logistics were different, I'd jump at the chance, but I must remain lusting from afar for now. ;D
tripping by way of asphyxiation lmao
I understand, maybe one day in the future you'll get to try the futures weed ;D
Killer dude! I always wished to have AC for the grow. That really solves so many problems. As long as you keep that air moving, and humidity in check you should be gold.
