RE: Solar Eclipse Photographs

Thank you @owasco!

Were you able to see it well from the front porch?

Yes this was from the back yard, between my steps and the middle of the back yard. I had a pretty good view right from my front door, which is in the back of the house lol.

I wish I would have thought to lower the exposure before it started, but I'm still really happy with what I got.

Wow! Syracuse was in the band too, wasn't it? Nice!

I couldn't see the sun from my porch. I wanted to be a part of it, not an observer of a part of it. I watched the earth around me, the colors were altered, time sped up, then everything took a new breath. It was very cool.

Yes it was!

I get what you mean by wanting to observe the surroundings more than the eclipse itself. I took a brief moment to look around during totality moment and saw and felt the shift you're talking about too. It was cool, but left a strange feeling for the rest of the night. Certainly feels like time has sped up a bit ever since the eclipse as well.

At moments, I feel like I'm in a very different world. I see more life around me, colors are more vivid, and I'm happier, and calmer. Y
