Indoor Garden Update - Flowering Cannabis

avatar

Hello Everyone,

Today I'm sharing some photographs of the five cannabis plants I have in flowering stage.

Let's get right into the photos!

Here we have:

  • (2) Big Mac Superstar clones.
  • (1) Big Mac Superstar crossed with Miracle Mac from seed.
  • (2) Small clones from the crossed cannabis.

Big Mac Superstar

These two plants are the Big Mac Superstar clones. I'm expecting a big harvest from these two girls. Their current growth is healthy with pretty normal rate of foliage loss.

I feel the foliage drop is a little early, but the bud growth is in full explosion with plenty of green foliage left.

I'm feeling optimistic about these two girls.

Big Mac Superstar/Miracle Mac Cross

This is the first of its kind, but closely related to the Big Mac Superstar, since its genetics are crossbred with another member of the Mac family.

The plant carries forth the desirable traits from both the Big Mac Superstar and the Miracle Mack.

I expect a big dank harvest from her.

The nodes are compact, the foliage is compact and healthy, and I am running clones from this plant and might keep them going if the harvest is fire.

If we look closely, we can see amber color trichomes starting to show themselves.

My estimation is we're looking at 10-20% coverage.

I still think I have at least two weeks to go, but I will monitor the trichomes daily to ensure I harvest at the best time.

That will do it for the cannabis update today.

What do you all think of my plants?

I would love to read your thoughts in the comment section!

Thank you for stopping by,

Have a great day! -@futuremind

Thank you @misshugo!
I'm trying my best to improve my photography skills. I use a cheap smartphone but recently got a macro clip on lens. It works really good!

The way the plants are looking, you have been taking care of your plants for a long time, watering them on time, and from what we have seen today, all the plants are looking very beautiful. Thanks for sharing.

They are cannabis plants. Not sure where you are seeing mangos.

Thank you man, I've been staying on track with caring for them.
It's hard to not give them too much water sometimes.

As usual, those closeup shots really make it looks like a scifi backdrop. As if a robotic t-rex is peeking behind the plants, about to jump out and start chasing me to get a pipe to smoke something (oh my... What am I smoking 🤪)

Am I the only one noticed the leafs turning yellowish at the edge? Hmmm

P/s: that picture of you in thag tent, reminds me of Martian.

Thanks bro,
Yeah there's a little yellowing and leaf drop. That's pretty normal during flowering but it's occurring kind of early in this grow. Not too badly though and they're still coming along really good.

Martian futuremind has a nice ring to it :D

Those closeups are looking good man. That should really help you dial in when to harvest.

Thanks man, I'm pretty happy with how close I'm able to get with good clarity.
You're right, it makes all the difference for trichome inspection for harvest, and having better looking photos to put on the blog is an added bonus too.

I was thinking that too lol.
I wanted to have a little early bud so these seemed like good candidates for minis :D

Why there are those yellow leaves among those green ones?

Good question!
Foliage (leaf) drop is normal during flowering because the plant utilizes nutrients stored in the leaves to produce the desired buds.
However if it happens early in flowering it can mean nutrient deficiency.
In this case I think the plants are suffering from magnesium deficiency. I fed them last night so hopefully it makes a difference.
