Heavy Stacking - Cannabis Update

Hello Everyone,

Today was another exciting day with the cannabis plants.

These girls are stacking up hard with resinous trichome covered buds.

They were thirsty today and sucked up 2.5 gallons between the four of them in 5 gallon pots.

I've been watering every 2-3 days during this grow and it's been a pretty good rate for them.

The rate of heavy stacking is impressive with this grow, and illustrates the power of the LM301H Samsung diodes.

They penetrate deeply and provide the plants with plenty of light for production of big sticky dense flowers.

I have about 14 inches of distance between the lights and the plants and feel this is the sweet spot. Any closer might cause negative effects I would rather avoid. It just wouldn't be worth the risk for a potential in more production.

Growers who push their plants to the limits will likely pay the price of producing lesser grade cannabis.

The market is more competitive than ever, and people prefer quality cannabis. So it behooves a grower to not think solely in terms of production.

This pretty little thing above is an unknown genetic. I love the purple colors on her top leaves, caused from lower temperatures at night.

Her pistils are so thick and have this almost wet look to them. I think she is going to be really good.

The photos above show how I ventilate this big tent.

I don't have an inline filter set up, and my apartment smells of dank weed, but I live in a legal jurisdiction and I enjoy the smell.

An inline filtration system has just not been an affordable option for me yet, but cannabis growers tend to make due with what they have and get creative for solutions.

I utilize that window AC to bring temps and humidity down and direct airflow into the tent while keeping the left side flap closed.

This solution is a real winner, because it really works great and I don't really need anything else to successfully grow happy plants with this setup.

This Big Mack Superstar in the back of the tent has really started pushing her way into the show. She's super healthy and will be the last girl standing in this tent, and also the last in this current clone line. She's a few weeks behind the other girls and it almost feels like they are pushing her to produce super fast so she can look just as mature as her clone sisters :D

In this photo we can see a Miracle Mack bud on the left, and a Big Mack Superstar bud on the right.

There's distinguishable differences between the two plants in just about every aspect.

The MM has more compact buds and foliage, with a pine cologne like smell, while the BMS boasts very big fan leaves, very fat bud production, and has a banana/mango pungent skunky smell.

With previous grows, I consider the Big Mack Superstar to be far superior, but the Miracle Mack has a heavy sedation effect that is great for a night time smoke.

So they both have special traits, but the BMS will really get you super high :D

With every passing day I feel an increase in confidence with the current grow.

At the halfway point now, there is not a whole lot that could go wrong other than mold, or forgetting to water or some other critical mistakes that I'm not likely to make.

I maintain quite an obsessiveness with my cannabis plants, and it's an obsession that I just can't get enough of :)
