Agros, Cyprus – Where the Famous Agros Water Comes From

today I wanna tell you about something super cool I discovered during my trip to Agros – the famous Agros water!

You’ve probably seen it before if you’ve ever been to Cyprus, because you’ll find it in pretty much every supermarket. What I didn’t know before is that this water actually comes straight from the mountains around the village.

Fresh from the Source

While I was exploring Agros, I visited one of the natural springs where the water flows directly from the mountains. No joke – you can literally drink it straight from the source! Of course, I had to give it a try myself, and let me tell you, it tastes so fresh and pure, nothing like the bottled stuff we usually get at home.

More Than Just Water

It’s no wonder the locals are so proud of their water. It’s not just a product for them, it’s part of their daily life. The springs have been around forever, and the whole village is built around this amazing natural resource. On top of that, the water gets processed in Agros and then sold all over Cyprus.

In my next post, I’ll show you even more about this village and its traditions. But for now, here’s a little highlight – one of the springs, where I stood there like a kid, sipping mountain water straight from the rocks.
