Monomad:I'm in pain because my face is injured

Hello all my black-and-white friends

Some time ago, I managed to capture one species of insect in the form of a pupa on a piece of decayed wood. Unfortunately, the front part of the pupa was slightly damaged, and it’s unclear who attacked it. Almost the entire face of the pupa from its cocoon looked very unattractive upon closer inspection.

Generally, cocoons hang in the corners of plant leaves, but this time I found one on a piece of rotting wood. I enjoy looking at the part of the cocoon which has several lines that look very unique, but if the cocoon were intact, it would actually look more perfect.

I'm in pain because my face is injured, I will include this in the daily #monomad challenge organized and curated by @monochromes
