Fungi Friday:two mushroom species in the rainy season
Hello mushroom hunting friends
On this occasion, I want to share two species of mushrooms that I found this afternoon in my yard. Recently, I haven't dared to go outside because some areas in my region are experiencing floods and landslides, so I am a bit worried about unwanted incidents. Generally, it is during times like these that mushroom growth increases, but unfortunately, extreme weather is currently hitting our area and has claimed many lives.

Some time ago, in several areas in our region, flash floods and landslides occurred, as you can see in some of the pictures I managed to take a few days ago, two days after the incident. I crossed several landslides to check the situation around where I live in the Bener Meriah area, Central Aceh, Takengon. I had to avoid and leave my home for a while so that conditions in our area could be a bit safer. I returned to my parents' house by land, traveling on foot for a distance of 60 km, a tiring journey.

This afternoon, by chance, while I was daydreaming and thinking about where I live, suddenly, in the midst of my restless heart, I saw on a pile of burned wood a species of Turkey tail mushroom. Basically, during the rainy season, they look more beautiful than usual, but on one side, this Turkey tail mushroom seemed to be submerged in water, making its body look not good and slightly wilted.

On one hand, I tried to capture it with my macro lens; I wanted to see the meat closely, and it turned out that I found the meat to be slightly fuzzy and it looked softer.

In another piece of wood, I found another species of fungus, a polypore fungus, a mushroom with a hard texture and soft, spongy flesh. This species of mushroom has a very cute shape and left quite an impression on me. I haven't seen this fungus growing around me for a very long time.
