One heavy rain is obviously not enough to revive the plants in the garden. It may cool the ground for a while, but it will take more than a single downpour to bring everything back to life. What these plants really need is consistent rain in the coming weeks. Only then will the garden begin to recover from all the heat it has endured.

During my morning walk today, I noticed the dried plants again. Even after the recent rain, many of them still looked weak, curled, and thirsty. The weather has simply been too warm for too long. Maybe the plants cannot hold enough water, or maybe what they received was still not enough to make a real difference. Either way, the signs of dryness are still very visible.

Since I was already out with my camera, I decided to use those dried forms as my subject once again. In black and white, they still carry a kind of beauty that I find difficult to ignore. The curled edges, the fading petals, and the rough textures all become more expressive in monochrome. Instead of looking lifeless, they begin to tell a story of endurance. They show what it means to remain standing even after being exposed to too much heat and too little relief.

I think that is also the thought I want to share today. Sometimes one good moment is not enough to fix everything at once. Just like these plants, we often need steady care, patience, and time before real recovery happens. Change does not always come instantly. Sometimes it arrives little by little, through consistency rather than sudden improvement.

So for now, all I can do is hope the weather stabilizes soon and the garden gets the rain it truly needs. Until then, I will keep noticing what is still there, and keep finding meaning in it.
