Waiting for Green Again

The past few days have gone by without rain, and it feels like we are back in summer again. The brief relief we had earlier now seems too short to make a real difference. The plants in the garden have not fully recovered yet, and many of the leaves and vines are still looking dry. Even after hoping that the change in weather would help them bounce back, the signs of stress are still there.

During my walk, I noticed these details once again, and they naturally became the subject of my black and white photos. The dryness is still visible in the curling leaves, the rough surfaces, and the worn textures of the plants. In monochrome, those details become even more noticeable. The contrast gives them character, and even though the garden is not at its healthiest right now, there is still something meaningful to capture.

Of course, I still hope there will be improvement soon. I want to see the garden turn lush and green again. There is always a different kind of joy in seeing plants fully alive, fresh, and thriving. But while waiting for that season to return, I think there is also something to learn from this in-between stage.

Patience gives us hope.

Sometimes things do not improve as quickly as we want them to. Sometimes recovery takes longer than expected, and progress can feel slow or almost invisible. But that does not mean nothing is happening. Just because the full result is not here yet does not mean it will never come. We keep believing, we keep waiting, and we keep trusting that with time, things can still change.

That is the thought I carry today while looking at these dry leaves and textured vines. Just believe, stay patient, and let time do its part. In the end, growth has its own season, and it will come when the moment is right.

Have a good day ahead.
