The Simple Nourishment of Nature
There are plenty of ways to appreciate life, and I think each of us has our own way of doing it. For me, the simplest way possible is to go outside, enjoy nature, and allow myself to notice what it offers. It doesn’t have to be anything grand or expensive. Sometimes, a flower resting quietly among the leaves or raindrops sitting perfectly on a wide leaf is already enough to make the day feel meaningful.
These photos are from one of those simple moments. I saw the flowers, the leaves, and the tiny drops of water, and I felt that familiar urge to take out my camera. In black and white, the details become more noticeable. The soft petals, the dark leaves, and the shining raindrops all have their own character. Without color, the image feels more peaceful and emotional to me.
Nature brings nourishment to us, at least that is what I believe and feel. It gives us fresh air, shade, beauty, and even quiet moments to clear our thoughts. Sunshine on my skin is also a precious experience, which is why I try to enjoy it whenever possible. It reminds me that life is still full of small gifts.
Sometimes we look too far for happiness when it is already around us. A simple walk, a few flowers, the warmth of the sun, or the sight of raindrops can be enough.
Enjoy life to the fullest, even through the simplest things.
Have a good day ahead.
