Patterns Written by Nature
For today’s morning walk, I decided to keep things simple and focus on one subject: leaves.
Usually, I take photos of anything that catches my eye, flowers, random plants, even little details on the ground. But this time, I wanted to slow down and pay attention to the patterns and textures that are already there, quietly doing their thing.

Leaves are honestly one of the best subjects for texture in photography. Some are smooth and soft-looking. Some are rough, spotted, or scarred. Some have lines that look like tiny rivers running from the stem to the tip. And when you shoot them in black and white, the patterns become even louder, like the leaf is telling its story without needing any color at all.
I also noticed how every leaf has its own “signature.” Even leaves from the same plant don’t look exactly the same. The veins, the tiny imperfections, the way light hits the surface, everything is unique. Sometimes it really feels like they’ve been crafted by an artist. A natural one, maybe even a godly one. I don’t have a basis for that… it’s just how I feel whenever I stare at the details for long enough.
And I guess it reminds me of people too.
We’re all different. Different shapes, different textures, different histories. But somehow we’re still connected, like parts of the same bigger design, just seen from different angles.
Anyway, I hope you’ll like the photos I’m sharing today.
Have a good day ahead.
