My Comeback in Black and White photography
To restart my photography journey, I wanted to share some photos I took earlier during a walk after breakfast. I felt like I had eaten a bit too much, so I decided to go for a gentle walk to help with digestion. I also took the opportunity to capture some photos, which I’m sharing in today’s post.
In my “comeback” post yesterday, I mentioned that I’ve been thinking about what kind of content I want to share. I decided that photography would be a great place to start. Since I have a deep appreciation for black and white or monochromatic photography, I’ve chosen that as the theme for my work moving forward.
Whenever I shoot in black and white, I always think of a beautiful quote by Andri Cauldwell:
“To see in color is a delight for the eye, but to see in black and white is a delight for the soul.”
This quote has stayed with me and has become a guiding principle for my black and white photography.
While I wouldn’t say that black and white photography is superior to any other style, because I believe each has its own unique beauty, there’s something about it that evokes a sense of nostalgia and calmness in me. That’s why I truly enjoy creating in this style.
I hope you enjoy these photos too.
Wishing everyone a wonderful Sunday!
Nice shots bro! Keep up the good work. I should also do some B/W soon.
Thanks! Appreciate it.
