Morning Raindrops
Woke up to heavy rain this morning. The sky was grey and moody, but not for long. Once it cleared, I stepped outside and everything felt different—cooler, fresher. The plants looked brighter somehow, like they’d soaked up every drop.
What really caught my eye were the raindrops still clinging to the leaves. Tiny glassy beads, just hanging there until a breeze or a touch sent them rolling off. I started taking photos—couldn’t help it. It’s funny how something so small can feel so worth noticing.
I’ve always wanted a proper macro lens for moments like this, but honestly, the phone does a decent job. It’s not about the gear anyway. It’s about slowing down enough to notice what’s right in front of you.
There’s something calming about photographing raindrops. They don’t last long. They show up quietly, look beautiful for a moment, then vanish. Maybe that’s the point.
Hoping for sun this afternoon—but for now, I’m glad the rain gave me a reason to pause.
Love how defined the raindrops are
