Drops on a Quiet Morning
I would argue that even though the rainy season can be a bit annoying, there is still a lot of beauty hiding in it.

During my walk today, I noticed a leaf covered with plenty of water droplets, almost like tiny glass beads resting on the surface. Each drop held a small reflection of the world around it. When I converted the image to black and white, the textures of the leaf and the bright highlights of the droplets became even more pronounced. Simple things suddenly looked dramatic.
It is very relaxing to take photos like this. Focusing on the tiny details makes me forget about everything else for a while. In this colder weather, walking with my camera feels a little like meditation. My body is moving, my mind is calm, and my eyes are quietly searching for something interesting to frame.
Of course, I still would not wish for continuous rain. Too many dark days in a row can feel heavy and depressing. A balanced weather is still the best for me and probably for everyone. Sunny days have their charm, but so do these quiet, wet mornings.
What I am learning is that appreciating every kind of weather gives us better peace of mind. Whether it is bright sunshine or a sky full of clouds, there is always something worth noticing if we pay attention.
Thanks for dropping by, and I hope you enjoy this little moment of raindrops on leaves.
Have a great week ahead!
