Building My Black and White Collection
Lately, I have been realizing that I now have a growing collection of black and white photos, and that thought gives me a quiet sense of fulfillment. Every time I add a new image to that collection, it feels like I am building something that truly matters to me. It may not be grand in the eyes of other people, but for me, it is meaningful in a very personal way.

Of course, life is much more than a simple collection of photos. There are bigger responsibilities, deeper struggles, and more important things to think about. But even then, I believe it is still important to have something that gives life a little more meaning beyond what others think it should be. In my case, photography has become one of those things. It helps me appreciate details, notice beauty, and create something that I can look back on with gratitude.
Some people enjoy collecting expensive things, and there is nothing wrong with that. But for me, it has never been about the financial side of collecting. What matters more is the feeling it gives me. This collection of black and white photos may not be costly in the way people usually measure value, but it means a lot because it brings me joy. It reminds me of mornings I enjoyed, subjects I found beautiful, and moments that would have otherwise passed without being remembered.
I think that is one of the nicest things in life—to find something that genuinely makes us happy and gives us a sense of purpose, no matter how simple it may seem. Not everything valuable has to be expensive, and not everything meaningful has to be understood by everyone else.
As long as it brings peace, joy, and fulfillment to the heart, then I think it is already worth holding on to.
Have a good day ahead.
