Blooming After the Rain
After so many days of rain, today finally felt like a small blessing. The sky was clear, the sun was warm, and there was just enough wind to keep the walk comfortable. It’s funny how, after a stretch of gloomy weather, even ordinary sunlight feels special.

The plants along the path seemed to enjoy it too. The leaves looked fresh and clean, and the flowers were blooming really well. They looked healthy, almost like they were saying “finally, some proper light.” That alone already made the walk worth it.
While exploring, I spotted one particular flower that instantly caught my attention. Its petals formed a shape that reminded me of a crown, with the center reaching out like tiny spikes. It looked so elegant and a little dramatic, as if it was posing proudly among the other flowers.
Of course, it would be beautiful in color, but black and white is still my favorite way to show these moments. Once I converted the images, the shapes and textures became stronger. The soft petals, the shadows between them, and the bright highlights from the sun all stood out more clearly. In monochrome, the “crown” shape feels even more royal.
I arranged the photos in a simple collage, almost like a window looking into this little garden world. Each frame shows a different character, but they all share the same quiet mood from today’s peaceful weather.
I hope you enjoy these photos as much as I enjoyed taking them. Thanks for visiting, and enjoy your day ahead!
