#GRATEFULVIBES - ATTITUDE OF GRATITUDE/WEEKLY THOUGHTS - 25 SEP 2023 - 01 OCT 2023
Good morning, Hive-ians! ๐
These are some of our pumpkins, still more to come, once the frost hits and clears the foliage out of the way. ๐
The Bumblebees are still working hard on pollinating the few Sunflowers we have left. ๐
I love that the Bumblebees donโt care how close I come to get a nice picture, they just keep pollinating away. ๐
This multi-headed Sunflower is leaned way over sideways, but still hanging on as the Bumblebees stop by each head. ๐
The giant Sunflowers are our new favourite and weโre looking forward to using the seeds from these ones to increase them in the spring. ๐
Halfway to sauce. ๐
I think itโs going to take a while to cook down all the tomatoes weโve harvested, but maybe doing small batches at a time would work too. ๐
Our neighbourโs daughter stopped by and spent some time chatting with Smudge and I while Smudge enjoyed her favourite treat, sunflower seeds. ๐
My favourite view, showing my favourite tree standing so pretty and tall above all her friends that are showing off their colours. ๐
Donโt mind my dirty windows but take note of this cute little bug/insect. Does anyone know what it is? ๐
We washed and sorted over 80 pounds of tomatoes this week and I cut up over 12 pounds of them to add to the freezer for cooking this winter. ๐
Our first jar of homemade tomato sauce, ever. ๐
Foggy sunrise. ๐
I spent my day today washing, sorting and processing peppers, both sweet and spicy. ๐
There was no counter space left after I finished washing them all, so I had to do some quick sorting and processing to get some room to work. ๐
This Eagle was where the flock of geese were, when I went to grab my camera, after I got back, so I tried to get a clear shot of it and this was how it came out. ๐
Well, that was how things have been going for us here. I hope you have all been safe and healthy and have had an amazing week! Iโm grateful to God for blessing us with another week to share with you here. ๐ God bless you all. ๐ Have an awesome week everyone! ๐

Your bug is a yellowjacket, I think. You got some seriously impressive harvests there! It occurred to me yesterday that you don't show photos of you veg garden. I don't think I've seen the whole thing.
Love the sunflower shots!
Welcome back lovely lady, thanks for visiting! ๐
We have yellowjackets here; they are wasps; maybe they are something different in the USA, but they don't look like our typical yellowjackets...
Have I never shown it? Really? I thought I've included several shots, but maybe I just snapped them, but didn't include them...I'll have to try to do better at that for next years garden. This years garden is coming to an end, so there are a lot of empty beds that are getting prepped for the winter out there now. I'll go through my pictures and see what I can find. I'll try to remember to include them in a post. ๐
Okay, my tea is almost gone and I still have a few posts to check out before I head back into the fray with our pretty peppers in the kitchen, so I'll say goodbye for now and chat with you again soon. ๐
God bless you and your wonderful family. Have an awesome day my fabulous friend! ๐
I do try to read all of your post each week, but I could have missed the photos. A post showing the garden from spring to now might be an idea...
Oh, that's a great idea. I'll have to go through and pick out my best ones. ๐
