Good morning, Hive-ians! 😊

I woke up to a beautiful sunrise this morning. 😊

It’s been a busy week, with lots of computer and phone time, helping our daughter shop for insurance and a new-to-her car, (after totalling her car the week before, and having to return to the hospital this week and being told she had a concussion from her accident, thankfully, she will be fine over time,) something that hasn’t been easy since she’s not in the same province as we are anymore and insurance here won’t cover her there, which is stupid, it shouldn’t matter where you are, if you’re paying for insurance it should cover you, no matter where you live/move to, especially when you pay such a high rate for it…just my opinion of course. 😊

We’ve had a busy week for company too, (so not a lot of pictures to choose from,) both unexpected and expected. Our son and neighbour both surprised us with visits this week and a friend of mine from down the road came by to do some baking with me. We made a sugar-free carrot cake, using the above ingredients and almond flour. It didn’t quite turn out as expected, (it felt kind of gritty to us, probably because of the almond flour,) but we will do better the next time we try baking together. 😊

This is probably our last full moon before the icky white stuff comes, its supposed to arrive next week. 😊

We had our first frost this week. That means the garden harvesting is done. Now we’ve just got to process our blessed bounty. 😊

We let our handsome bull Prince Lee into the main pasture this week. He was so happy and excited that he was hopping around in the hay pile, (seen behind him and to his right,) that my handsome husband put in there for going over the garden beds before they got put to bed for the winter. He was rolling in the pile and playing like a big puppy dog, it was adorable. He’s such a sweet boy. 😊

The tomato, bean, pea trellises came down this week, too. 😊
