I've been so lucky to see some different forests in Ecuador too. And they are quite different indeed. Much more humid too 😃
Do you sometimes travel back to Germany?

The humidity depends on the altitude, the rainforests are super humid indeed. Up here in the Andes, the climate is very similar to what I was used to in Germany.
I travel every once in a while. Went in May 2024 the last time, which was the first time with Lily. We're going in December again, so she can experiment Christmas in Germany at least once. I'm really not looking forward to winter in Germany...
I've been both to the rainforest as the andes and the cloud forest. Beautiful country!
But Germany also has some beautiful rough nature as well.
Every country has its charms.
