Markiezenhof in black and white

Yesterday I paid a visit to the Markiezenhof in Bergen op Zoom, The Netherlands. The Markiezenhof is the oldest city palace in the Netherlands. It was built in the late 15th century as the residence and administrative center of the Lords and later the Marquises of Bergen op Zoom; an influential noble family in the region.
Over the centuries the building had several different functions. Nowadays the Markiezenhof is a museum. As a visitor we explored the historic rooms.
This blog contains a couple of photos from that visit.

Back in the day, photographers were serious about making big prints, haha… That spot looks lovely.

Those photographs are from modern photographers, taken inside the building in the style of 'the old days'. Really cool!
