Framing the city: black & white perspectives

Framing can make photographs more interesting because it guides the viewer’s eye and adds structure to the image. I often look for opportunities to frame my images. Recently, when I was photographing in the city, I made a couple of shots where I used framing.
I hope you like this series.
This is my entry for both the #monomad challenge by @monochromes as the Qurator Photo Quest!
This is a small alley that ends in a shopping street.
An abandoned alley with cobble stones in the old city center.
Narrow street with some restaurant and old buildings.
Some pillars next to the city hall.

I like the frames, especially that first image. The out of focus pedestrians and the cyclist work, except perhaps in the last image. That might work better if the cyclist was in focus, but I'm not sure technically how you would do that. It seems he is flashing in and out of the frame pretty quickly. Where are you located? Looks like a fascinating old town.

Thenlast shot with the cyclist was a bit difficult since I had to wait for one to pass and couldn't see or hear them coming. I did use servo and have another one with the cyclist in the middle where he is a bit sharper, but I thought the 'unsharpness' made his speed more visible than a 'frozen' one.

Yeah, it's hard to judge not seeing how it looks more in focus. I think you arranged the shots really well too, in terms of quality.
