[ESP/ENG] Jueves de TBT / La foto del segundo cumpleaños de mi hija

Hola a todos los miembros que hacen vida en la comunidad y, de manera especial, a los que participan en esta sesión de jueves de TBT. Es un placer volver por aquí para contarles lo bien que te puede hacer una foto del recuerdo, sobre todo, si estás lejos de esa persona que tanto quieres.

En fin, aquí les dejo la publicación.

Buscando en el baúl de los recuerdos, di con esta foto de mi hija mayor y no pude menos que expresarle a mi esposa actual que el tiempo corre de prisa.

En el mes de marzo, mi niña cumplió 15 años y, esta foto fue la de su segundo aniversario, que fue en el año 2012.

En ese entonces vivía en Cuba y, ella y su mamá formaban parte de mi círculo familiar. Las cosas no estaban tan críticas como ahora y la situación era más llevadera.

En esta foto, Anyeline estaba molesta porque no quería retratarse, quería comer dulce y jugar con los otros niños, pero yo, como padre, al fin quería capturar ese momento para la posteridad.

Qué bueno que pude hacerlo porque en momentos como estos en los que estoy lejos de ella acudo a sus fotos y recuerdo lo feliz que fuimos en varios de los momentos que vivimos juntos.

Otro de los motivos por los que quiero esta foto es porque perdí casi todas las fotos que tenía de mi niña y, qué bueno que he podido conservar, esta que me recuerda esa etapa infantil, noble, que vivimos juntos y que pude darle un poco de amor y defenderla de todo y de todos.

Por esas razones, aproveché para participar en este concurso de jueves de TBT que me parece fantástico y una manera de hacer real el refrán que dice que “recordar es volver a vivir”.

Looking through my memory box, I came across this photo of my oldest daughter, and I couldn't help but express to my current wife that time flies.

In March, my daughter turned 15, and this photo was from her second birthday, which was in 2012.

I was living in Cuba back then, and she and her mother were part of my family. Things weren't as critical as they are now, and the situation was more bearable.

In this photo, Anyeline was upset because she didn't want to be photographed; she wanted to eat candy and play with the other children. But I, as a father, ultimately wanted to capture that moment for posterity.

It's great that I was able to do it because in moments like these, when I'm away from her, I turn to her photos and remember how happy we were in the many moments we shared together.

Another reason I want this photo is because I lost almost all the photos I had of my daughter, and it's great that I was able to keep this one, which reminds me of that noble childhood we experienced together, when I was able to give her a little love and defend her from everything and everyone.

For these reasons, I took the opportunity to participate in this TBT Thursday contest, which I think is fantastic and a way to make the saying "to remember is to live again" a reality.
