A walk in the cold

A walk in the cold

Here are the pictures I have taken in the last seven days, it has been very cold here and then warm again for a while, which also caused heavy fog for a while, enough so that it was hard to see the trees.

I was hoping to find a Estonia big black woodpecker by one of the trees, but it seems that it doesn't want to come out when it's -16 degrees cold outside :)) , but instead the tree was interestingly covered with frost and those woodpecker holes stuck out strongly.

I be soon back what more photos, Sorry I not make good English text, I try hunt some photos what can be fun to look.

I was use here my Sony NEX-5T
I was use here my Sony 16-50 mm kit lens and also Sony 55-210 mm lens.

The forest is beautiful in the rays of the winter sun. And walking there is good for a person.

Sauna, another thing I'm definitely missing since Helsinki.
Went to some wellnesses here. But it's definitely not the same experience as in Finland..

So much snow in the woods. I hope the bird will come out as soon as it gets warmer! The tree was lost in white surrounding.

You needed to disguise as a tree! So those birds would come out and sit on you!

The holes seems a bit fresh but I guess the woodpeckers decided to not come out today. -16 degrees is too cold to bear ❄️🥶

This beautiful sun shining through the trees with their warmth but it makes a little or no difference at all, the temperature remains cold.
Everywhere is covered in snow, including the trees no wonder the woodpeckers have retreated deep inside the tree.

I see you've been braving the cold weather to take some beautiful shots. I must say, those frost-covered trees look like something out of a winter wonderland. As for the elusive Estonia big black woodpecker, I guess it's too cold even for him to come out and play.

Maybe you should try leaving out some birdseed to entice him. Or better yet, dress up as a woodpecker yourself and see if that does the trick ;) Keep up the great work, and stay warm out there.

This view is my favorite and I myself would love to live on top of such a place because it doesn't snow where we live.

So how cold it is in terms of TEMP.

You must be enjoying such scenic beauty around you, but in reality managing extreme cold might have been a costly affair!.

Thank you.
