Rebels of nature

As soon as I saw this blooming tree, I knew that it was time for a photo walk. The first days of my visit, it was raining and I hadn't been out much. But now the weather was brilliant and the colors of nature were inviting me, to enjoy and capture them!
I am, for one more time, to the village that I know so well, since my childhood and yet I never get bored wandering around it. This time though, it was mostly the vibrant energy of spring that grabbed my attention rather than the small white houses and the narrow, curvy streets of the settlement.

The air was so clear that I felt I could touch the mountains, far away. And the fruits of spring were all over me. There are many fruit trees around the village that don't really have an owner and everyone can taste a fruit or two, if it happens to pass by. I love this small luxury of the village. We may not have coffee shops, pastry shops or even a simple grocery store but we do have fruit trees.
And you don't need neither cash, nor credit card for this purchase :)

Another characteristic of the village are the flowers. Not only the ones that the residents plant in every kind of pots but also the ones that grow by themselves in the most peculiar places. On the rocks, on the walls or even on cement stairs, like the ones below!
I admire so much those stubborn flowers, those tiny rebels of nature, that refuse to submit to the totalitarianism of cement!

The aroma of the bloomed oregano (pic below) reminded me that the spring is practically over and this may had been the last walk before the heat of the Summer comes in our part of the world!
And since it is Wednesday, this is also my contribution to the #wednesdaywalk challenge, hosted by @tattoodjay :)
