Amigos me complace saludarlos y mostrarles lo más hermoso que tiene Monagas ¡su jardín!. Aunque Monagas es principalmente cálido, Caripe tiene un clima súper fresco que favorece a las plantas florales que a la mayoría de sus habitantes les gusta tener en sus hogares. Estando allí no tienes que obligarte a hacer senderismo, es todo un placer poder caminar en medio de montañas, riachuelos y flores.

Tengo la dicha de que la mayoría de mis familiares son de allá, así que voy siempre que me es posible. Y aunque lo frecuento, no me aburre. Desde donde vivo (Maturín) hasta allá son unas 3 horas de camino en transporte público, después de una hora de camino empiezas a ver pequeñas montañas que al avanzar se van haciendo más altas. A mitad de camino una laguna, "la represa de guana-guana", te alegra aún más el viaje con su hermosa vista, allí se divide el camino, uno te lleva a San Antonio y otro a Caripe, ambos pueblos muy lindos.

En Caripe recomiendo visitar la cueva del guácharo, y las cascadas "La paila" y "chorrerón", son algunos de sus mejores atractivos, aunque casi en cualquier rincón se disfruta la estadía. Por ser un lugar turístico hay muuuchas cabañas que puedes alquilar por noches. Espero en el futuro poder mostrarles mejores fotografías de ese lugar que tanto amo, por ahora, pueden ver lo que considero "los bordes" de caripe por medio de estas imágenes, porque realmente no le hacen justicia a la belleza natural que se disfruta estando allí en persona.
