Lion's Gate bridge is an iconic sight of Vancouver, connecting Stanley Park which is part of Vancouver with North Vancouver and access to West Vancouver. The bridge was funded by the Guinness family and they bought a lot of land in West Vancouver at the time as well. The land they got is called British Properties but apparently their descendants don't own any of it now.
I learned this from a speed boat tour I went on in 2019 but it more or less checks out with the wikipedia page.

Also there are horse and cart tours in Stanley Park. I'm not sure if there is a historical context or if it's a gimmick like a tourist trap. I'm sure the guides are knowledgeable but I haven't been on it it.
It's nice to see people out and enjoying themselves anyway.

Blue skies, blue water and blue mountains. A perfect place to relax and enjoy the view.
