Recovery Day 25 - Little push-up progress... my training diary entry from July 1 2026

(Unfortunately, it’s hard to make out from this distance, but here you can see a flock of sheep with their shepherd. I suspect he has just moved the animals to a shadier spot.)
Hi Actifitters,
yesterday, upper-body training was on the agenda again. I did overhand pull-ups with resistance band assistance, dumbbell lateral and front raises, dumbbell curls, and, of course, close-grip push-ups. The tables show my current progress with the push-ups.
The next goal according to the training plan (47+):

As you can see, I managed to improve by three repetitions compared to the last workout. I still need seven more to reach my current goal. Let's see how long it takes until I get there.
The first days of my "Mission 80" are over, and I’ve already lost 1.7 kilos. Of course, I realize this isn't a meaningful figure, since it’s impossible to lose that much fat in such a short time; it’s more likely that my body’s water balance has shifted. While it would actually make more sense to weigh myself only once a week, I weigh myself every day regardless.
Mission 80 (Day 2 = 88.3 kg / Goal = 80.0 kg / Initial weight = 90.0)
Aside from my mandatory steps, there won't be any physical activity today. I simply don't have the time. For one thing, I have to go to the office, and for another, I have a dentist appointment beforehand.
