Damage Control... my training diary entry from June 4 2026

(And here is the next photo from our hike up the Wendelstein last weekend. As you can see, the weather was starting to cloud over a bit. Since it was very warm, however, that actually suited us well, and when a light rain began to fall, it was even quite refreshing.)

Hi Actifitters,

since we were invited to a wedding reception yesterday, I had to burn off a few calories beforehand. It was clear that the evening would be an indulgent affair, both in terms of food and alcohol.

Unfortunately, however, spending more than an hour on my indoor bike wasn't possible given the time constraints. Looking back at yesterday, that hour was unfortunately nothing more than damage control. But never mind, the main thing is that I got at least a little bit of exercise.


Since I got hardly any sleep last night and can still clearly feel the effects of the alcohol in my system, I probably won't work out today. But never say never... maybe I'll surprise myself.
