I'm confused, but whatever, let's move on... my training diary entry from April 13 2026

Hi Actifitters,
yesterday, the climb of the week was on the agenda. It wasn't too difficult, but it still challenged me after the holiday break. It felt good to feel my thighs and to continuously apply pressure to the pedals.
I could end the training session after a successful climb, but I usually include the descent as a cooldown. That was the case yesterday as well.
Here are some stats about the workout:

Distance - 14.55 km
Elevetaion gain - 313 m
Average speed - 25.3 km/h
Maximum speed - 70.1 km/h
Average power output - 202 watts
Maximum power output - 426 watts
Average heart rate - 138 bpm
Maximum heart rate - 167 bpm
Average cadence - 86
Maximum cadence - 108
On top of that, I spent another good hour on aerobics and stretching.
Today I'm confused by my Garmin values. My sleep score was over 80, meaning I've slept well for the fourth night in a row. When I went to bed last night, my training readiness was 51. When I woke up this morning, it was only 46. I don't understand how the value can decrease despite restful sleep and moderate training load.
Be that as it may, life must go on. So, in addition to my usual walking, I'll hop on my bike for a session today. I'm simply assuming that Garmin is at least somewhat truthful and will keep my training load low. Let's see how the data develops.
