1000 meters of altitude and packing suitcases... my training diary entry from March 7 2026

Hi Actifitters,
a few days ago I decided to try and reach 1000 virtual meters of elevation gain in a Zwift session soon. Yesterday I did it. So I can tick that off my list before my vacation. After the vacation, 1500 meters of elevation gain is on the agenda.
Here are the numbers of yesterdays session:
Duration - 1:51:21
Distance - 45.78 km
Elevetaion gain - 1005 m
Average speed - 24.7 km/h
Maximum speed - 91.0 km/h
Average power output - 193 watts
Maximum power output - 680 watts
Average heart rate - 139 bpm
Maximum heart rate - 168 bpm
Average cadence - 91
Maximum cadence - 133
I won't be exercising today as I'm heading to the airport soon, but I'll do everything I can to get my 15,000 steps in before I board the plane. Since I don't land until tomorrow, it will be nearly impossible otherwise, so I have to get the steps in beforehand.
