Intense cycling session + squats = burning thighs... my training diary entry from March 2 2026

Hi Actifitters,
now that my neck is feeling better, I was finally able to do core stability training again yesterday. One of the exercises was squats, and what can I say? I hadn't realized that the strain would be so different from cycling. I don't have any real muscle soreness today, but I can feel my thighs, and it's a good feeling. When you feel your muscles you know you've done something for yourself.
After an extensive core stability workout and stretching, I got on the bike for 70 minutes. I completed a Zwift workout tailored to my needs, which really made me sweat.
Immediately after posting this, I'll warm up briefly and then get back on my bike for the next Zwift training session.
