Nearly four hours of moderate training... my training diary entry from December 21 2025

(This Lufthansa Airbus A380 flew over me three days ago during one of my longer walks.)

Hi Actifitters,

after spending a lot of time outdoors over the past few days, I trained indoors for almost four hours yesterday.

I started with my pull-up workout, which, in addition to pull-ups, also included side crunches, three forms of dumbbell curls, and dumbbell rows. Between the individual exercises, I completed my daily steps. This training session lasted exactly two hours.

My performance in the pull-ups (with resistance band) looked like this.

Previous goal (24+):

set 1set 2set 3set 4set 5break between sets

Yesterdays performance (24):

set 1set 2set 3set 4set 5break between sets

New goal (28+):

set 1set 2set 3set 4set 5break between sets

As you can see, I have achieved my previous goal of meeting the minimum requirement of 24 pull-ups in five sets. Next up are 28 pull-ups in five sets. I'm curious to see if I'll have enough power to reach the new goal right away in the next workout.

Then I spent one hour and 44 minutes on my indoor trainer, pedaling continuously at a power output of 120 watts. This session was suggested to me by my Garmin Enduro 3 and it was quite strenuous despite the low wattage.


Whether and how much I'll train today is currently uncertain. I have visitors and don't know when they'll leave. Plus, I'm starting work soon and don't yet know how much there is to do. Fortunately, I can do my work from home today.
