Last weekend, I was fortunate enough to enjoy a beautiful and peaceful morning outdoors. Everything was so beautiful and quiet, and I had an hour to myself to simply enjoy. The weather app predicted wind for the morning, so it was nice to enjoy the calm before the wind. A little time out for me.

While I was there, I watched some horses grazing in the green pasture. It was so beautiful to see them calmly and gracefully just being there. You could almost feel the peaceful energy radiating from that moment. It's truly these serene encounters in nature that fill me and free me to find myself. They're a great example of how important it is to pause again and again, to calmly perceive what I see, and to pause.

In situations like these, I realize again and again how important it is to capture impressions as memories. The camera becomes a conduit back to what I'm experiencing and what I'll remember later. In this way, I capture these moments of peace and hope to experience them again someday, perhaps to give a moment of peace to someone who needs it too.

I hope I was able to capture some of the unique morning atmosphere and give you a moment of peace. Sometimes the simple things make the biggest impression, and sometimes silence gives them the greatest power.
