1/1000th of a second of happiness

A week ago, I posted a few photos in which I photographed a sparrow. I was back in the same place, in a friend's garden, and managed to obtain some potentially good snapshots of a sparrow again.
When I looked closely and compared the photographs, it is evident that this is a different bird than the one from the other photographs. It's interesting to see how different these little birds look when you look at them a little more closely. Each of them seems to possess their own particular charm.

This time, I am especially pleased with the shots I have of the sparrow. I changed my camera settings and shot with a shutter speed of 1/1000 of a second which helped me capture the birds rapid movements with "no tripod" and for the images to be distinctly sharp with details. You never stop learning, and it is a good feeling when you realize that you are improving within the medium and that the results is actually good.

In addition to the images of the sparrow, I also have two other images. A swallow (i think🤔) and a crow. For these two, I intentionally mucked around with the editing settings a bit. I am sometimes just inclined to stray from the path and experiment a little outside a usual way of working to see what aesthetic effects I can develop.

I hope my photos brought you some joy. Have a great start to the week!🙃✌️

A very beautiful sparrow, and the photos with the crow's shadows are especially attractive

What a beauty. I love small birds, but don't have the equipment to capture them. Nice!

Thank you! You really don’t need much to capture birds like this. I’m using a slightly older camera myself(Panasonic Lumix FZ82), and I’m still surprised by the results I get. Sometimes it’s more about patience and timing than gear!🙃✌️
