Some macros of a beautiful White Peacock Butterfly [EN]//[ES]
Hello to all insect lovers! It's been a while since I've been around here, the truth is that between work and the strong sun during most of the day, which does not even cause me to look out the window, I had not gone out to take pictures, days ago I went for a walk and found nothing to inspire me to photograph, and this afternoon when it was starting to get dark, I went to the garden to water the plants, and I noticed this small White Peacock butterfly (Anartia jatrophae), which was perched, probably laying its eggs, in my pine tree, it was still in one place, so I dared to look for my camera, and try to take some good shots.
The truth is that I did not find a good position to take a better shot, so I dared to try to take some macro shots, for a moment I thought the butterfly would go away, since my macro lens is quite small and I had to get very close to photograph it, my surprise was pleasant and the girl let me make a good session, well, at least there were many shots, good is something quite subjective hahaha, but I was very happy with the result, because the position in which she was among the leaves was not the best.
To be able to see tiny details of a butterfly, being photographed by me, is really a great achievement, because it is something I have always wanted to do and that I enjoy very much, the tiny details of the cephalon, those gigantic eyes, that at first sight are difficult to notice, the details of the long and rolled beak, as if it were a party whistle, the folds and cuts of its antennae, let's say, I could not observe the wings as I would have liked, which is usually its main attraction, but I could see beyond, other things that are really cool and fascinating.

¡Hola a todos los amantes de los insectos! Hace rato que no me daba una vuelta por aquí, la verdad es que entre el trabajo y el fuerte sol que hace durante la mayor parte del día, que no provoca ni asomar la cara por la ventana, no había salido a hacer fotografías, hace días salí a dar unas vueltas y no encontré nada que me inspirara a fotografiar, y esta tarde ya cuando estaba comenzando a oscurecer, fui al jardín a regar las plantas, y me percate de esta pequeña mariposa Pavo Real Blanco (Anartia jatrophae), que estaba posada, probablemente poniendo sus huevecillos, en mi árbol de pino, estaba inmóvil en un solo sitio, por lo que me atreví a buscar mi cámara, e intentar hacer algunas buenas tomas.
La verdad es que, no encontré una buena posición para hacerle una mejor toma, por lo que me atreví a intentar hacer unas tomas macro, por un momento pensé que la mariposa se iría, ya que mi lente macro es bastante pequeño y tenía que acercarme muchísimo para fotografiarla, mi sorpresa fue agradable y la niña se dejó hacer una buena sesión, bueno, al menos fueron muchas tomas, lo de bueno es algo bastante subjetivo jajaja, pero me contento mucho el resultado, pues, la posición en la que se encontraba entre las hojas no era la mejor.
Poder ver diminutos detalles de una mariposa, siendo fotografiadas por mí, es realmente un gran logro, porque es algo que siempre he querido hacer y que me disfruto muchísimo, los diminutos detalles del cefalón, esos gigantescos ojos, que a simple vista son difíciles de notar, los detalles del pico largo y enrollado, como si de un silbato de fiesta se tratara, los pliegues y cortes de sus antenas, digamos que, no pude observar las alas como me habría gustado, que por lo general es su mayor atractivo, pero si pude ver más allá, otras cosas que son realmente geniales y fascinantes.
