A Nocturnal Visit with Leaf Legs- Leaf Legs Bedbug - Macro Photography

Night photography is a great challenge without any doubt, and if we talk about macro photography even more, my camera, although it is semi professional needs some attachments to be able to take this kind of pictures, one of them is a lamp, which I have, but guess what? It has no batteries, so it's the same as having nothing, so when I found this little Leaf-footed Bug, which I must say I have only managed to see it at night, I went running for my cell phone and turned on its flashlight, this accompanied by the small flash of the camera gave me the perfect lighting to be able to capture some details of this little guy.
The Leptoglossus zonatus is among the more than 80,000 species of hemiptera, and like many of its cousins and sisters, this one has a long beak capable of sucking the sap of some plants thus damaging the aesthetics of the same, as I have read the plants that are in my garden are not within its menu, however, the pomegranate tree represents a home for them, so maybe that's the reason why we have this little one of about two centimeters prowling around the garden. Something curious is that I have only seen it at night, which makes me assume that it has nocturnal habits, I have not seen another like it or similar, in fact, it is the first of this species that I manage to see and capture in a photograph, so I decided to make a good session to leave it immortalized in my archives.
Their leaf-shaped legs, accompanied by their antennae in two colors, plus the details on their upper part, are the things that catch my attention the most, so focusing the macro lens on these attributes was my main idea, and I must say that the contrast of colors offered by the background of bad mother leaves and Asian mantle suits this little friend great, I can even say that they make a good combination to their formal attire. These Chinches are also characterized by always having a good elegant suit, one of the things that make me always want to photograph them whenever I see them.
The editing was done with Snapseed, adjusting a bit the contrast, brightness and shadows, and adjusting a bit the tones to make them a bit cooler, since, being a night photograph, warm tones are not to my liking. Macro photography is not always easy, but if we have a good model to photograph and a good pulse we can make something good, and hopefully beautiful.

La fotografía nocturna es un gran desafío sin duda alguna, y si la hablamos de la macro fotografía aún más, mi cámara, aunque es semi profesional necesita de algunos aditamentos para poder tomar este tipo de fotografías, uno de ellos es una lampara, la cual tengo, pero ¿Adivinen qué? No tiene baterías, así que es lo mismo que no tener nada, así que cuando me encontré este pequeño Chinche Patas de Hojas, que debo decir solo he logrado verlo de noche, fui corriendo por mi teléfono celular y encendí su linterna, esto acompañado del pequeño flash de la cámara me dio la iluminación perfecta para poder capturar algunos detalles de este pequeño.
La Leptoglossus zonatus se encuentra dentro de las más de 80.000 especies de hemípteras, y como muchas de sus primas y hermanas, esta tiene un pico largo capaz de succionar la savia de algunas plantas dañando así la estética de las mismas, según he leído las plantas que están en mi jardín no se encuentran dentro de su menú, sin embargo, el árbol de granado representa un hogar para ellas, por lo que tal vez sea la razón de que tenemos a esta pequeña de unos dos centímetros merodeando por el jardín. Algo curioso es que solo la he visto en las noches, lo que me hace asumir que tiene hábitos nocturnos, no he visto otra igual o similar, de hecho, es la primera de esta especie que logro ver y capturar en una fotografía, por lo que decidí hacerle una buena sesión para dejarla inmortalizada en mis archivos.
Sus patas en forma de hoja, acompañado de sus antenas en dos colores, más los detalles en su parte superior, son las cosas que más llaman mi atención, por lo que enfocar el lente macro en estos atributos fue mi idea principal, y debo decir que el contraste de colores que ofrece el fondo de hojas de mala madre y de manto asiático le va genial a este amiguito, incluso puedo decir que le hacen una buena combinación a su traje de etiqueta. Estas Chinches también se caracterizan por tener siempre un buen traje elegante, una de las cosas que hacen que siempre que los vea quiera fotografiarlos.
Para editar estas fotografías no fueron necesarios muchos retoques, La edición se hizo con Snapseed, ajustando un poco el contraste, brillo y sombras, y ajustando un poco los tonos para hacerlos un tanto más frio, ya que, por ser una fotografía nocturna, las tonalidades cálidas no son de mi agrado. La macro fotografía no siempre es fácil, pero si tenemos un buen modelo para fotografiar y un buen pulso podemos hacer algo bueno, y con suerte hermoso.

Muchos confunden a estas chinches con Chipos, sin embargo, y aunque tienen cierto parecido con algunas chinches, sus cabezas son bastante alargadas y las marcas de sus espaldas son diferentes, aquí puedes ver como sin.

That's an awesome macrophotography! I've been trying to take macro shots too using my mobile phone and it's really difficult. Hope I can capture a good one too.
Taking macro shots with a cell phone is even more difficult, but you can get very good shots if you know how to use the pro options of the cell phone camera.
Que hermosas macro fotografias hiciste!! cualquiera pensaria que lo hiciste con una camara profesional y un lente de macro pff te quedaron muy bien hechas, ahh y se nota que esta vez si te acercaste mas al insecto haha
Si utilice un lente macro, pero mi cámara es semi profesional, viejita es, pero toma buenas fotografías, claro esta aún me falta por aprender, pero se va mejorando gracias a Dios jajaja
