Hello, I hope you all are enjoying life and have the possibility to travel to discover amazing places.

First, I want to announce that this is the first time I write in this wonderful travel and tourism community that I just discovered, as it is my favorite area to develop the topics of my blog in Hive, as you can see, I am very new to the platform, this is only my third publication, but with it, I wanted to launch myself to finish learning and know all the spaces where I can show the content that I have done with a lot of effort and dedication hoping you like it.

Hola, espero que todos estén disfrutando de la vida y tengan la posibilidad de viajar para descubrir lugares impresionantes.
Primero que nada, quiero anunciarles que es la primera vez que escribo en esta maravillosa comunidad de viajes y turismo que recién descubrí, ya que es mi área favorita para desarrollar los temas de mi blog en Hive, como podrán ver, soy muy nueva en la plataforma, apenas esta es mi tercera publicación, pero con ella quise lanzarme terminar de aprender y conocer todos los espacios donde puedo mostrar el contenido que he realizado con muchísimo esfuerzo y dedicación esperando que les guste.

Travel with me to Colonia Tovar a German tourist and cultural attraction

Viaja conmigo a la Colonia Tovar, un atractivo turístico y cultural Alemán

Tourist activity is an integral part of my life because of my profession as Cabin Crew, which gave me the opportunity to travel around the world and visit fascinating places that I hope to show you soon while I tell you about my travel experiences. At present my work is destined for the tourist world in the digital space, so finding the functions of the @pinmapple map is giving me a great and easy-to-use tool that I hope to get a lot of benefit from.

Well, but enough of telling you about me by way of introduction now please board my private plane using your imagination and join me to tour this magnificent site created by German immigrants who were brought to my country offering them conditions of shelter as they fled the horrors of war.

La actividad turística forma parte integral de mi vida por mi profesión como Tripulante de Cabina, la cual me dio la posibilidad de viajar por todo el mundo y recorrer sitios fascinantes que espero mostrarles próximamente al mismo tiempo que les relato mis experiencias de viaje. En la actualidad mi trabajo está destinado al mundo turístico en el espacio digital, por lo que encontrarme con las funciones del mapa de @pinmapple me está dando una herramienta genial y fácil de usar a la cual espero sacarle mucho provecho.
Bueno, pero ya es suficiente de hablarles de mí a modo de presentación, ahora por favor suban a mi avión privado utilizando su imaginación y acompáñenme a recorrer este magnífico sitio creado por inmigrantes alemanes que fueron traídos a mi país ofreciéndoles condiciones de resguardo mientras huían de los horrores de la guerra.

Colonia Tovar, as the name of this small tourist town located in the state of Aragua Venezuela, is an attraction worth visiting where you can enjoy exceptional natural landscapes and at the same time you can recreate yourself with an endless number of activities that the locals have prepared for visitors.

My trip began as a kind of adventure tourism I confess since we decided to take the route to the place by the agricultural road from another very nice sector called the Jarillo, this road is much more lonely, a little dangerous because of the steep slopes and curves during the journey of at least 1 hour, but I confess that it is worth it because it is a totally natural area where there are virtually no buildings beyond small family farms quite distant from each other, which gives it a special touch and why not also romantic.

La Colonia Tovar, como es el nombre de este pequeño pueblo turístico ubicado en el estado Aragua, Venezuela, es un atractivo digno de visitar donde puedes disfrutar de paisajes naturales excepcionales a la vez que te puedes recrear con un sin fin de actividades que los lugareños tienen preparados para los visitantes.
Mi viaje comenzó como una especie de turismo de aventura, les confieso, ya que decidimos tomar la ruta hacia el lugar por la carretera agrícola desde otro sector muy bonito llamado el Jarillo, esta carretera es mucho más solitaria, un poco peligrosa por las pronunciadas pendientes y curvas durante el recorrido de al menos 1 hora, pero les confieso que vale la pena porque es un área totalmente natural donde prácticamente no hay construcciones más allá de pequeñas granjas familiares bastante distantes una de otra, lo cual le da un toque especial y por qué no también romántico.

Unlike the main route to Colonia Tovar which goes through several urban villages from the city of Caracas, the route of Jarillo does not have much traffic, so the natural cold of the area is enjoyed to the fullest away from all the noise and pollution characteristic of the cities. If you plan to visit this place I recommend you to leave very early so that you arrive in the town around 8 in the morning because after that the queues of cars to enter the commercial area and find parking is real chaos.

I arrived at Colonia Tovar one cold Saturday morning and stayed at a traditional hotel called Selva Negra that is over 100 years old, believe me, it is quite an experience to stay there, but it has so few rooms that you have to book at least a month in advance to ensure your space.

That day of course I had to have a typical German breakfast to enjoy the great gastronomic variety of the area, where especially the very fresh agricultural and livestock products are grown nearby stand out.

A diferencia de la ruta principal a la Colonia Tovar que atraviesa por varios caseríos urbanos desde la ciudad de caracas, la ruta del jarillo no tiene mucho tráfico, por lo que el frío natural de la zona se disfruta al máximo alejado de todo el ruido y contaminación característico de las ciudades. Si tienes pensado conocer este lugar te recomiendo salir muy temprano para que llegues al pueblo cerca de las 8 de la mañana porque después las colas de carros para ingresar al área comercial y encontrar estacionamiento es un verdadero caos.
Yo arribé a la Colonia Tovar una fría mañana de un día sábado y pernocte en un hotel tradicional llamado Selva Negra que tiene más de 100 años de construido, créanme que es toda una experiencia alojarse allí, pero tiene tan pocas habitaciones que tienes que reservar por lo menos con un mes de anticipación para asegurar tu cupo.
Ese día por supuesto tenía que hacer un desayuno típico alemán para disfrutar de la gran variedad gastronómica de la zona donde resaltan especialmente los productos agrícolas y pecuarios muy frescos cultivados en las cercanías.

The Muhstall Café

This small German store was founded in the year 1865, it is a really beautiful place, I was delighted with the dishes offered for breakfast.

According to German customs, a good breakfast of course has to be well loaded with fat to give you the necessary energy to withstand the cold environment which can lower the temperature to 3 degrees Celsius with lots of fog and humidity.

Este pequeño comercio Alemán fue fundado en el año 1865, es un sitio realmente muy hermoso, yo estaba deleitada con los platillos de comida que me ofrecieron para desayunar.
Según las costumbres de Alemania, un buen desayuno, por supuesto, tiene que estar bien cargado de grasa para darte la energía necesaria para soportar el frío del ambiente el cual puede hacer bajar la temperatura hasta los 3 grados centígrados con mucha niebla y humedad.

The cafeteria has a wood-fired oven in the back where they make a variety of different types of bread characteristic of the provinces of Germany. All the charcuterie that accompanies the main course and the coffee are produced on-site with very high-quality standards, I might add, which makes this place a perfect place to recommend if you ever visit this town.

Like all old-style towns, its streets are narrow and some are quite steep uphill, there are still several avenues with the original stone pavement designed for horses and carts. The main street crosses the town from side to side and there are settled most of the stores selling clothes, banks, antiques, souvenirs, photography, and a lot of tourist things that will take you hours to go through in detail, so I keep my recommendation to stay at least a weekend to enjoy it to the fullest, but you can also go up very early and down to the city again at 6 pm when all the main activity ends.

La cafetería tiene en la parte posterior un horno a leña donde hacen toda una gran variedad de panes de diferentes tipos característicos de las provincias de Alemania. Toda la charcutería que acompaña al plato principal y el café son producidos en el sitio con muy altos estándares de calidad, debo agregarles lo que hace a este local un lugar perfecto para recomendárselos si alguna vez visitan esta localidad.
Como todo pueblo de estilo antiguo sus calles son angostas y algunas bastante empinadas en subida, todavía existen varias avenidas con el pavimento de piedra original diseñado para caballos y carretas. La calle principal atraviesa el pueblo de lado a lado y allí están asentados la mayoría de los comercios de venta de ropa, bancos, antigüedades, recuerdos, fotografía y un montón de cosas turísticas que te llevaran horas recorrer con detalle, por eso les mantengo mi recomendación de quedarse al menos un fin de semana para poder disfrutarla a plenitud, aunque también puedes subir muy temprano y bajar a la ciudad nuevamente a las 6 de la tarde cuando toda la actividad principal finaliza.

In the main square, there is a Catholic Church, a farmers market, and very nice gardens, here I want to make a special emphasis, the flowers, and crops in the place are a great relaxing experience ideal to escape from the stress of everyday life, as you can see in my pictures I had a great time I had a lot of fun and above all I breathed clean air surrounded by friendly people, spectacular nature and unbeatable food that undoubtedly enters my list of favorite places to spend a good time, alone or in the company, either way, I assure you will enjoy this little piece of Europe Nordic style hidden among the mountains near the capital of Venezuela.

En la plaza principal está una iglesia católica, un mercado de agricultores y jardines muy bonitos, aquí quiero hacer un especial énfasis, las flores y los cultivos en el lugar son una gran experiencia de relajación ideal para escapar del estrés del día a día, como pueden apreciar en mis fotos la pasé muy bien me divertí un montón y sobre todo respire aire limpio rodeado de gente amable, naturaleza espectacular y comida insuperable que sin duda entra en mi lista de lugares favoritos para pasar un buen rato, sola o en compañía de cualquier forma les aseguro disfrutaran de este pedacito de Europa estilo nórdico escondido entre las montañas cercanas a la capital de Venezuela.

So far our trip for today, possibly later I will tell you a little more about my adventures in Colonia Tovar because they were 2 special days when I did so many things that it would be impossible to summarize them in a single publication without making it extremely tiring and boring and of course, that's the last thing I want to do, on the contrary, I want you to enjoy traveling with me and that my blog space is something that transmits good vibes.

Hasta aquí nuestro viaje por el día de hoy, posiblemente más adelante les cuente un poco más de mis aventuras en la Colonia Tovar porque fueron 2 días especiales donde hice tantas cosas que sería imposible resumirlas en una sola publicación sin hacerla extremadamente cansona y aburrida y por supuesto eso es lo último que quiero hacer, por el contrario, quiero que disfruten viajar junto a mí y que el espacio de mi blog sea algo que les transmita buenas vibras.
