Wood Sandpiper in the puddle
After a bigger rain there were several puddles building up in a field near Linz and Stefan and I visited this spot for some birdphotography since this is a nice opportunity to get some really nice closeup pictures of birds and where I don't have to drive so far, like to the Inn River for example. Now in Summer it is really difficult to get some bird pictures because you either need to get up very early or stay out very long before the birds come out of their hides. Some of them usually also avoide the hot time of the day and stay somewhere in the shaddow. In spring it is a lot easier to find some nice birds like these because a lot of them are looking for a mate and are a lot more trusting.

The mouth of bird look so sharp
These Pinocchios are very funny. It is especially funny how they quickly run on such long legs through puddles.
