Sunset at Katoro Beach in Croatia
Yesterday I could see a very nice sunset at Katoro Beach in Croatia were I was on holiday for some days. I really enjoyed the warm weather and I went swimming in the mediterranean sea at least once every day. The water could be warmer but for a short swim it was ok. I hope when I visit Greece in two weeks the sea will be warmer. But I am pretty sure since it is way more south than Croatia. For a short trip it was really nice in Croatia since I saw Rovinj and Pula and the Soline in Slowenia near Portoroz. I was also told a spot for Bird Photography at the River Mirna but this didn't turn out well, I only saw some ordinaray birds that I could find here in Austria way closer.
On my way back to Austria I stopped in Klagenfurt at the Minimundus and I also explored the City Center a little bit. All in all I have to admit that this was a really great weekend and I really need to do more short trips like this one.

I have always wanted to visit Croatia and I almost had the chance too. Bird Photography at the River Mirna Sounds like the perfect activity to do. Sad to see you could only spot common birds in the area. Better luck next time. I bet the warmth and the massive sea was charming and beautiful which made up for the loss of good birds.
Yes, it did. Maybe I have more luck next time
