Sparrowhawk in Upper Austria

I am happy that I can find so many different types of birds here in Austria, a lot of these birds are migratory birds that make their way through Austria when migrating in spring and in Autumn either from south to north or from north to south. That's why in spring and autumn there is a bigger variety of different bird species that can be seen than during the summer or winter time. Unfortunately this spot where I took the pictures of the sparrowhawk is getting eliminated since the company that uses the gravel pit for gravel production has to refill the pit and therefore destroy the artificial lake they created. That this lake is used by thousands of birds and other animals for drinking and food source is not important to the government or the regulatory authority.
