Some pictures of the Aurora Borealis at the GIS near Linz

Last year there was a nice day when the Aurora Borealis was visible here in Upper Austria. Stefan and I decided to take some pictures of this very seldom event. Usually this nature spectacle only takes place way further north an not in our hemisphere. We didn't find the best spot for it since the hill covered most of the aurora borealis and only very little part was visible. But I am happy that we tried and due to the circumstances I was lucky to get some pictures of it at all. Because not only the hill was covering the view but also the clouds on this day.
